Last Hope - a Dark Magical Girls TTRPG

What in the flip flop is this?!? We reached our 3RD Stretch Goal in less than 72 hours and there's now 302 of you?

It's so crazy how great it is going! We've been loving checking your comments and see your enthusiasm for our game. The community has been so nice and engaging, we've been smiling so much because of you! All early birds tiers end at 13:00 pm on May 10th, so there's still time for you to upgrade your pledge or make a new one before they disappear forever!

Backers can access a poll, which is linked on this update, and we've added another for your SECOND favorite! Don't forget to vote if there's a goal you'd want to see unlocked. The poll to cast your votes for the next Stretch Goals will close on Tuesday, May 12th at 15:00 EDT! Since we're funding faster than everything we anticipated, we want to make sure we're prepared and contact the right people, ask how much it would be, etc.

We also have a personal quest added to the Achievements (just for fun). When we reach 36,560$, which is the TOTAL we made, including pre-orders and shipping fees on our previous big project, all physical orders will receive a free character emoji sticker sheet (you will be able to select your favorite one in the pledge manager)! We'll also add the development of a mini-game, much like the personality quiz, for the Gacha rolls, so you can use it during your games, either on your phones, tablets, or computer.

We feel like it's been two days and two months at the same time. We can't believe what is happening and we are so excited, happy, every emotions in the book!

Our next goal is now 27,500$! We'll be able to upgrade the base quality of the book from Inkjet printing to digital. This is the LAST Stretch Goal we planned, and we've created a survey to know which future ones you would like to see!

Wow. We went to rest because, let's be honest, planning a crowdfunding campaign when you're three people in a basement is quite tiring, and we already smashed through the first goal?!

We can now officially add illustrations for various genders and appearances for the different Hearts! Our character artist is going crazy (and us too). She's very passionate about Magical Girls and she wants to thank all of you for your amazing support (so much so that she's decided to do sticker sheets emojis for all characters, for free)! We'll probably add them as add-ons if some of you want to pick them up.



We'll be launching a poll sooner than expected, since the campaign is going very well, to know which first new goal you would like to see - we're pretty confident that we'll unlock the higher quality book. Our current choices are:

Our next goal is now set at 23,500$! We will be commissioning more splash illustrations and monsters, as well as adding Vic Corbella to our roster of artists!

So, we funded in less than 12 hours, which is... Kinda crazy.

The base amount was to be able to produce and fund the basic requirements for printing, writing, and art. While it was not a HUGE amount, we didn't really think we would reach it THIS fast. We love this game very much, we're having fun, and we really needed the support to make it a reality!

We will continue to update you on the progress, as well as send backers (YOU!!!) the DEV file in a couple of days (the stress is down and we're a bit tired to be perfectly honest). We'll also update the free demo with the remaining mechanics (exploration and "dungeons").

What's next?
We have a couple of Stretch Goals planned that will expand the base look of the game (more art and better quality printing). After that we have SOME ideas, and we'll be making a poll a bit later during the campaign to see which ones would interest you the most.

Our next goal is at 18,500$! We will be commissioning more artwork for the Hearts so we can have even more cool illustrations!

Oh. Wow. Well we have reached 450 followers and we just didn't think we would reach that many people. Like, we're overwhelmed with the support, but very excited! Launching a crowdfunding project is always an adventure and we are happy to have you all with us.

From now on, we don't really have any other community goals leading up to the launch, but everyone who backs at a tier that includes the game will receive a free Last Hope digital artbook! Crazy!

Our artists put a lot of love and passion into this project, and it's such a pleasure to showcase their hard work. While it was an available add-on, your incredible support made it so we can just, give it to you!
